The purpose of the 33rd Annual School Health Conference, "Leading Health Within Today’s School Community", is to provide school nurses with new knowledge to successfully lead in the recognition, management and referral of both physical and emotional health challenges found within today’s school community as a means to improve quality of care and daily performance provided to children and adolescents.
To receive 7.25 contact hours for this educational activity, participants must attend the entire conference.
The University of Texas Medical Branch Continuing Nursing Education Unit is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Free parking available at Galveston Island Convention Center at 57th Street and Seawall Blvd.

Online registration deadline is February 24, 2013 (See brochure for fees). After February 24, 2013 registration at-the-door (Fee $130)
No IDTs or PO forms or Personal Checks. Any cancellation requests for refund must be postmarked before midnight February 17, 2013 and submitted in writing to continuing.ed@utmb.edu. No refunds will be made after February 17, 2013, however another person may use your registration. All refunds are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
