The University of Texas Medical Branch Institute for Human Infections and Immunity, Sealy Center for Vaccine Development, Center for Hepatitis Research the James W. McLaughlin Fellowship Fund, in coordination with the British Consulate-General of Houston’s Science and Innovation Group and the UK Health Protection Agency is proud to announce a symposia centered around the theme of Controlling Emerging Infectious Diseases in the 21st Century. Focusing on topics such as influenza, vector-borne diseases, bacterial and viral infections and the epidemiology of infectious diseases, this collaborative meeting will bring together U.S. and European experts to discuss the latest developments in disease discovery and pathogenesis.
